Open Plan Media Wall

Inside this beautiful Ampthill home, a spacious open plan living space. Upon the installation of a brand new media wall to the sitting area, Grays Decorating undertook the project of decoration. After the protection, and initial preparation of surfaces ready for painting, the entirety of the ceiling and walls were colour drenched using Tikkurila Optiva 3 for a blemish free, durable matt finish throughout. All white satin woodwork, originally finished in oil based satin, was updated by first priming with the bullet proof adhesion primer, Zinsser Bin Aqua, then finished with a modern non yellowing waterborne satin, Tikkurila Everal Aqua 40. To achieve an accurate colour match with this particular colour, the stunning Farrow and Ball dark green of the media wall was finished in Crown Satin, and Crown Acrylic Eggshell, giving the sleek stylish modern look achieved. Wallpaper was then hung on the high stair wall adding an additional feature. With the room cleared up and fully dressed, the results speak for itself.
