Living Room Modernisation

In this generously spacious living room, an impressive transformation took place. From dated wallpaper, to a modern and practical media wall, from clinical white, to modern grey, and a warm homely green feature. Two separate visits occurred to accommodate the needs of our client, the first of which, to carry out initial preparation, and finish the ceiling in Tikkurila Anti Reflex 2, and walls in Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt, colour matched to the units, ready for the other trades involved to work their magic. Once the media wall, units, and new lighting has been installed, Grays Decorating returned, to complete the transformation already taking shape. The first order of business was to protect the new units, so touch ups to the walls post instillation could be carried out, and tape and caulk lines applied to all units, achieving the razor sharp lines a modern aesthetic like this calls for. Next, an area of expertise we enjoy immensly, cutting in a dark feature, the colour of choice being Farrow and ball Green Smoke. With the feature complete, and looking sharp, the woodwork was then brought forward, using a favoured adhesion primer, Zinsser Bin Aqua, and finally finished in Tikkurila Everal Aqua 40. Once demasked, and cleaned, this room had become a statement, it was our great pleasure to return it to our clients, whose vision made all this possible.
